This very large lacquer box is entitled "The Arguments of the Orthodox Theologies".  Ths artist, Kozliova is a gradute of the Fedoskino School of Lacquer Boxes.  Her subjects deal with Russian paintings, both Political and Religious debates.  Here the Priests meet to hammer out the future dogmas and structure of the Russian Orthodox Church.  Very detailed and colorful reproduction of the original painting.
