This wonderful lacquer box was created in a 3D style, the layered structure presents the effect of viewing in depth as 3 dimensional.  The artis, Shenshina, puts much detail and contrast in the production of her work.  The subject seems to be that of a Joker playing his Cello or Viola.  As of yet we have seen no other artist trying to develop this techique.  Size 3 by 3.5 by 2 inches
