A Russian Lacquer Box by the Fedoskino artist Shenshina. Shenshina is a graduate of the Fedoskino Art School of lacquer miniatures.This box is titled "Playing Billiards" and has the billiards done to make it look like the girl is hitting them across the pool table and as you can see one going in. The artist uses a three dimensional look to make this box really stand out. You can see on the bottom left the girls boyfriend teaching her how to use the pool stick. The lacquer box is completely hand painted and signed by the artist on the inner lid of box. The size of the box is 3 x 2.5 x 1 inches 7.5 x 6.5 x 2.5 cm.
