Here we have a beautiful hand painted lacquer miniature by the Fedoskino artist Shenshina. This box is titled "Joker" as it is a joker staring at you with a 3D effect. The joker is sitting on a stool with his foot hanging outside the box which is handcrafted very rare for lacquer miniatures. Although it is hard to tell by the photos the box is 3D like if you hold the lacquer box close to you. The box is signed by the artist on the inner lid and is completely hand painted by her.  Shenshina is a graduate of the Fedoskino art school of lacquer miniatures. The size of the box is 3 x 2.5 x 1.5 inches and is 7.5 x 6.5 x 4 cm.
