A Russian Lacquer box hand painted by the Fedoskino artist Shenshina. Shenshina is a graduate of the Fedoskino Art School of lacquer miniatures. This box is titled "Fairy Playing the Flute" and is completely hand painted and signed by the artist. The artist has made this box 3D as there is a moon on the front of the box and set the fairy back in the artwork to give it the 3 dimensional effect. The size of the box is 2.5 x 1.75 x 1 inch or 6.5 x 4.5 x 2.5 cm.
