A Russian Lacquer Box handpainted by Krasnov a graduate of the Palekh art school of lacquer boxes the second oldest of the four schools. The box is titled the "Nutcracker" and is completely handpainted by Krasnov. The box also has beautiful detail of the other two characters and the nutcracker. The box has a beautiful black background a trademark of artists from that school. The box signed by the artist and the size of the box is 4.125 x 4.125 x 1 inches (1 inch=2.5 cm) (w x h x d).
