Russian Lacquer Box handpainted by the talented Palekh artist Krasnov. Krasnov is a graduate of the Palekh art school and uses a lot of their designs in his work. This box is titled An Evening with the Animals and depicts a woman with many different pets surrounding her like her cat and her goats that live with her in the russian village. The city is depicted ion the back of the girl and the box has beautiful decor over every facet of the box. The box is completely handpainted and signed by the artist Krasnov. The box is handmade by the artist Krasnov as well. The size of the box is 6 x 4.125 x 1.75 inches ( 15 x 10 x 4 cm).
