Here we have a sensational lacquer box by the top artist in the school of Fedoskino Nikolay Zotov. The box is titled "Russian Elite in St. Petersburg in the late 1800's". The box is all handcrafted from papier mache the material used on most lacquer boxes with a molded marble looking buildup on the bottom box with a nice setting for the box. Here we also have the Russian Elite dressed in the 1800's style with the background of the Russian architecture of St. Petersburg in the 1800's. The box is completely handmade and handpainted by the artist Nikolay Zotov and is signed by him on the bottom lip of the lacquer box. The size of this lacquer box is 7.5 x 3.25 x 1.75 inches ( 19 x 8 x 4.5 cm).
