Here is a very rare set by the artist Elena Babicheva a graduate of the famous Abramstevo art school which teaches and trains highly skilled artists to be one of a kind artists. These works take much longer then your average doll made in a factory that takes somtimes as little as a day to paint. This set took the artist 100 days to complete and has 10 different fairytales on each doll. In the background of each doll in the set there is beautiful 22kt gold tempura worked into the art work done by the artist Babicheva. The fairytales in order are: the first doll is Wild Geese and the magic ship, the second doll is from Pushkins works titled "Lukomor'e", the third doll is Ivan the Prince and Baba Yaga, the fourth doll is the Two Brothers, the fifth doll is the Warrior and the Snake, the sixth doll is Golden Cockeral, the seventh doll is Frog Princess, the eighth doll is Cat Bayun-Lulabi Songs, the ninth doll is the smart fish and the last doll is the Firebird with Magic feather. This set was painted in 2003 and the artist Elena Babicheva now has decided to sell it as she kept it in her own collection. The doll is signed by the artist Babicheva on the bottom with 2003 made in Moscow. The size of the set is 9 inches tall by 4 inches wide. ( 23 cm tall and 10 cm wide).
