This is a beautiful lacquer box hand painted by the Palekh artist Krasnov. He is a graduate of the Palekh school of Russian Lacquer miniatures. The box is titled "Fantasy World Fairy on the Lynx". The box depicts a fairy flying on a Lynx over a sea and forest with birds. In the distance another angel is flying on a butterfly. The box is completely hand painted and handmade by the artist. The box is signed by Krasnov the artist. The size of the box is 4 x 6 x 2 inches ( 10 x 15 x 5 cm).
