A Russian Lacquer Box handpainted by Malkova a graduate of the Fedoskino Art School the second oldest of the four schools. This box she painted a beautiful girl in her spring time clothing with her beautiful elaborate dress. All around her is beautiful daisy flowers with mother of pearl instilled in the overall depiction. The Box is titled "Springtime" and has a blue background throughout the work making it look like marble. The box is very exquisite and has a very good lacquer finish througout the lacquer box. The box is signed by the artist Malkova and is completely handpainted by her. The size of the box is  3.125 x 7.75 x 1.75 inches (w x h x d). This piece is a one of kind lacquer box.
