A Palekh Russian Lacquer box the artist Krasnova the wife of Krasnov who we feature his boxes in our gallery. Krasnova like her husband is also a graduate of the Palekh School of Russian Lacquer Miniatures. This box is titled "Night Dream". The Fairy is talking to the owl and her forest friends like the dwarfs, the frog amongst the forest. As you can see the dwarfs are sleeping on the tree branches. The box is hand painted and handmade by the artist Krasnova. The size of the box is 7.50 inches in diameter by 2 inches in depth. The size in cm is 19 by 5 cm.
